Jacques Brel's very first radio recordings reissued on LP! First radio recordings of Jacques Brel's performances in three legendary cabarets (Chez Geneviève, Chez Gilles and at l'Échelle de Jacob, between 1954 and 1956). Accompanied by his only guitar, the newcomer to Paris gives us with the assurance of a future star his first compositions (including his first success, Quand on n'a que l'amour, recorded here several months before its edition in 45 rounds). The second side offers a public recital by Jacques Brel, recorded for the program "Discoparade" at the Alhambra in 1962. Far from the confidential beginnings, accompanied by a piano and a set of strings, the artist, given an ovation, performs "Les Bourgeois", "Marieke", "La Valse à mille temps" or "Ne me quitte pas".
